Summer Day Camp for National Guard Children

The Fort Indiantown Gap Youth Summer Day Camp provides summer care for children of Pennsylvania Army and Air National Guard service members.  Approximately 60 children ages six through twelve are enrolled in the camp each year.  Their parents play key roles in preparing mobilized units for overseas deployment.  The camp provides a valuable service to these National Guard members and allows them to fully focus on their missions.

The Youth Summer Day Camp is a self-sufficient, non-profit camp that does not receive any federal or state subsidies.  Counselors are paid from the weekly fee paid by parents.  In addition to the counselors’ fees, the camp also requires funds to provide the necessary items to run the camp such as craft supplies, food and field trips.

We are asking your organization to consider donating to help offset our expenses.  Please note that the Youth Summer Day Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Donations may be sent to FTIG YSDC, c/o Jennifer Boisvert, DMVA, Bldg S-0-47, FTIG, Annville, PA  17003.  Checks should be made payable to FTIG YSDC.

We hope to count on your gift to support the children of our State’s National Guard members.  Thank you for your consideration.
