The American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Pennsylvania offers two (2) scholarships for college bound students. Both are for a descendant of a veteran.  The applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania and attending a Pennsylvania college.  Both scholarships are $600 per year for a maximum of four (4) years.

The first scholarship is for an heir of a deceased or totally disabled veteran, who served during the American Legion eligibility dates.  The second award is for a needy (living) veteran who has served during an American conflict or war.

Deadline for application is March 15, 2012.
