Each citizen is assigned to a political party of Keystone Girls State. These include Nationalist and Federalists. These are fictitious parties and do not reflect the major political parties on the United State’s government.

The Nationalist Party has a mascot of a lion. Their colors are red and white.

The Federalist Party has a mascot of a St. Bernard. Their colors are blue and white.

City (local)

Each citizen is assigned to a city. The city name will correspond with your Senior Counselor’s last name. There are approximately 9 cities in total. Three cities per dorm floor. Floors can reside up to four cities as enrollment increases.

County

Counties at Keystone Girls State (KGS) are designated by floors in the dorm hall. Third floor is Red County, fourth floor is White County and fifth floor is Blue County. If an additional floor is needed, it will be the Gold County.
