Kings Dominion is pleased to announce that it will offer FREE admission to active, retired and former United States military personnel on Sunday
and Monday of both the Memorial Day and July 4th weekends as a part of its Tribute to the Armed Forces program. The exact dates are, May 30, 31 and July 4, 5, 2010, and include all branches of the service, including National Guard and Reserves.

The free ticket offer will be available on the Sunday and Monday of each weekend and a valid military ID or discharge papers must be presented at Kings Dominion on one of the dates of the program.

Memorial Weekend Fireworks

 To help usher in summer Kings Dominion will light up the skies with an amazing display of pyrotechnic marvel on May 29 and 30. Set to patriotic
 music, this mesmerizing display will begin at 10:00 pm with a column of fire from the parks “Volcano” roller coaster. There is a new launch
 location, so the best viewing areas will be from the Grove, specifically the Drop Tower plaza and the SkyFyer plaza.
 
 WaterWorks Waterpark Opening Soon
 
 A sure sign that summer has arrived is the opening of Kings Dominion’s WaterWorks, a 20-acre water playland. Starting Saturday May 29 guests can ride all the
 HOT roller coasters and then COOL off in the endless wave-pools and water-slides of Central Virginia’s coolest oasis (WaterWorks will not be
open June 1-3)!

Bonus Days Added
 
 Daily operation now begins Friday, May 28. With the huge popularity and demand for Intimidator 305, the Tallest and Fastest roller coaster of
 its type on the East Coast, Kings Dominion has added Tuesday – Thursday June 1 -3 to the calendar (WaterWorks will not be open for the Bonus Days).
